you want to start a Powerline all you need is a single PSA. (He/She doesn't even have to be active.)

To start all you need do is go to TOOLS -> Team Building -> Powerline Report (Last entry in dropdown list)

In the Powerline Report under the heading START A POWERLINE there are two boxes. In the first one enter the PSA under whom you intend to start a Powerline under. In the second one you need to enter a keycode. This can be any number you like it forms part of the unique URL you use to advertise. (See My Gateways)

If you intend to buy PSA's via one of the providers on TripleClicks then you need to put their keycode that can be found in their advertising. You can add as many keycodes as you wish, so if you intend to buy PSA's and promote your gateway personally you should add the provider keycode and one of your own. When your chosen provider sends you your purchased PSA's he/she will send them to your SFI ID plus their keycode, when you personally recruit they will be sent to your SFI ID plus the keycode you decided upon. As you have linked both keycodes to the same Powerline both sources will end up in the same place
